Gobimarathon TOUR II A
3 Days Tour – Flight Ulaanbaatar to South Gobi and flight back
Day 1 (Saturday, 2010-09-17): Ulaanbaatar – Gobi Desert
Flight from Ulaanbaatar to Dalanzadgad; transfer through the Gobi Dessert to the Ger Camp. In the afternoon drive out to the Gobi Gurvan Saichan National Park to visit the impressive and famous Yolyn Am canyon. Here we walk through a marvelous and impressive canyon where we can see eagles, vulture, mammals and ibex. Probably we will find a small glacier and ice patches at the bottom and can cross them.

Day 2 (Sunday, 2010-09-18) THE DAY
Marathon/ Half-Marathon for Walkers and Runners
Breakfast at the Ger camp during morning. Different transfers to Marathon and Half-Marathon starting lines reaching there approximately 30 minutes before start.
Your equipment as well as your clothes will be in one of the cars and drive to the finish line so you can change clothes there.
From the finish line there are transfers back to the Ger camp for overnight. On the way we‘ll make photo stop. Also you can walk inside the dinosaur excavation area. In the evening is a small farewell party.
Meals included: Breakfast, drinks and food during the race (normal Marathon “food”), Dinner
Day 3 (Monday, 2010-09-19): Gobi Dessert - Ulaanbaatar
Transfer through the marvelous Gobi desert to the airport and take the flight back to Ulaanbaatar. End of service.
