7-Days Tour to the Eagle Festival
Day 1 (Wednesday, 14/SEP)
Fly to Bayan Olgii. You will visit black market and local ethnicmuseum. Afternoon travel to Sagsai soum about 35kms for 1 hour. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Day 2 (Thursday, 15/SEP)
Today we will visit Kazakh families in their setllement. Their Gers are slightly larger than Mongolian Gers, and are decorated with brightly colored rugs. We will enjoy their hospitality and friendliness and learn more in deep about their culture. You will see their traditional technology to make colorful rug. Stay overnights in Ger camp. BLD
Day 3 (Friday, 16/SEP)
Full day horse riding along mountain valley and steppe. Evening we are up to a highlight of the day to have "bisparmak" which are real Kazakh dishes prepared for respectful guests! and watch a small Kazakh concert consisting of traditional songs and dances. Stay overnights in Gercamp.

Day 5 (Saturday, 17/SEP)
10:00-11:00am (around) Opening ceremony Eagle Festival. Enjoy the Opening ceremony of the festival, commences as the participants join the parade on horse ride with their eagles. The competition begins with each Kazakh displaying his hunting outfit and accessories. The most elaborate and beautiful clothing and accessories are given the highest points. In the afternoon, the Golden Eagles will be evaluated for their speed and agility. After picnic lunch transfer to local airport for taking flight to Dalanzadgad, the center of Umnugobi province. Upon arrival we will travel to Bayanzag around 100kms for 2-3hours. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Day 6 (Sunday, 18/SEP)
On this exciting day, the 11th "INTERNATIONAL GOBI MARATHON" will take place at Gobi, the most impressive part of the landscape where camels roaming over Golden sand dunes, sun rises from wide open desert steppe that holds many trilling surprises. The ground is hard sand and quite good for running. During the whole way nomadic people and their traditional felt dwelling - Ger and herds could be seen and even they would enjoy the race with you. Have a great run of 26.2 miles / 42.195 km through dramatic cliffs and valleys, rolling sand dunes, world wide known famous Saxaul forest of the Gobi and feel the emptiness & endlessness of Mongolia in the cradle of dinosaurs. Evening we will have a joyful Gala Dinner followed by ceremony of awarding winners by the medal "GOLDEN GOBI". All participants would enjoy the ceremony with nomads. Stay overnight in Ger camp.

Day 7 (Monday, 19/SEP)
Morning travel to Yolyn Am (Eagle Valley). The areas we will be visiting are situated in the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, which encompasses the 'Three Beauties' peaks and the eastern-most points of the Altai Mountains. Trekking through Yol valley around 6-7km for 2 hours. Continue travel to local airport and taking flight to Ulaanbaatar.
